Here is the 2011 schedule of Exceptional Cycling Tours/MidAtlantic BikeTours.

A Weekend in Four Pennsylvania Counties

May 6 to 8

Participate in the Quad County Metric Ride with hundreds of cyclists as we travel through Montgomery, Bucks, Lehigh and Berks Counties all in one day.  On Sunday, escape with our smaller group on a quiet Sunday morning.

TD Bank Philadelphia International Cycling Championship in Philadelphia

June 3-5

You’ll feel like you’re a part of the biggest bike race in the US… because you will be.  We’ll stay at the race headquarters, ride with the racers on Saturday and get the VIP treatment on Sunday after riding the actual race route, including the fearsome Manayunk Wall.  Experience the race like never before, with behind the scenes access, special events and more.

Discovering Chester County, PA

June 10-12

Less than an hour from Philadelphia and just beyond Valley Forge National Historic Park, this trip takes you on hilly backcountry roads filled with quiet history.  On Sunday we’ll join hundreds of cyclists for the annual French Creek Iron Tour.

Reading RadSport

August 5-7

Reading’s small city atmosphere and the great cycling roads in surrounding Berks County is the best of both worlds, promising an exceptional weekend of riding, dining and fun activities for the whole family at this inaugural Gran Fondo style event.

Welcome to Chateau Country

Aug. 12-14

Minutes from Wilmington, DE, this weekend features rides along the Brandywine River and its tributaries made famous by the Wyeth family of artists.  After riding, tour Winterthur, a DuPont Estate, Longwood Gardens or the Brandywine Museum.

Tour of the Brandywine

Sept. 2-5

You’re not going to believe you’re just an hour from Philadelphia on this weekend featuring three days of cycling.  On Sunday’s ride we’ll be joined by hundreds of others as we ride south into Delaware and west toward PA Dutch country.  We’ll ride on Saturday and Monday morning in a smaller group highlighted by stops at historic landmarks, picnic lunches and winding country roads.

Covered Bridges of Bucks County

Oct. 7-9

You say you can’t get to New England this Fall?  Join us half-way between New York and Philadelphia for three days of riding that are just as nice, probably a little warmer and an easier drive.

South Eastern Pennsylvania offers some of the most beautiful cycling venues in the Mid-Atlantic Region.  Many cyclists compare our area to Vermont and New Hampshire.  Pristine streams, covered bridges, colonial stone homes and barns, plus amazing accommodations and dining.  Add quiet roads and routes as challenging as you wish to make them, and you have a "life changing experience!"

All these combine to provide the cycling experience of a lifetime, just a short drive from New York, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, DC.

Our routes utilize well established club rides, fully supported, in combination with customized group rides through Chester, Montgomery, Bucks and Delaware Counties.  Our weekend tours start in early May and run through early October.
